Depression Education
Depression occurs in all age groups, ethnicities and social and economic backgrounds. It is estimated that one in five people has or will have suffered from depression sometime in their life. In some people, depression can seem to occur for no reason at all. In others, depression can begin after a traumatic event, a significant loss or due to overwhelming stress and strain of daily life. There are several potential causes of depression, but it is important to remember that no matter what the cause, depression is highly treatable.
