Plastic Safety

Plastics are everywhere. From convenience items in the home, such as plastic utensils, food containers, plastic water bottles, plastic wrap, plastic bags, to hidden plastics in daily-use items such as shampoos, conditioners, makeup, feminine products, paper plates, and wet wipes, plastics are all around us every day. They aren’t just in our homes though. They’re in the water we drink, in the soil where we grow food, in the food we cook and eat, in the air we breathe, and they are affecting our health and making us sick. While much needs to be done to clean up our world from the pollution of plastics, there are some easy things you can do to reduce the impact plastics have in your life, and your patient's lives.
