Colorectal Cancer Screening
According to the American Cancer Society (ACS), in the U.S., colorectal cancer is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in men and the fourth leading cause in women. Regular screenings can prevent colorectal cancer by detecting precancerous polyps, which can be removed before they have the chance to turn into cancer. Talk with your doctor about when you should begin routine screenings and how often you should be screened thereafter.
