Depending on your TRICARE plan, you may be able to see a different primary care practitioner. (Primary care includes family practitioners, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, obstetricians/gynecologists (OB/GYNs), just to name a few.) Check the Prior Authorization, Referral and Benefits Tool to determine if you require an approval from Health Net Federal Services, LLC to see a different provider for screening services. 

For most preventive services there is no cost to you when you receive the services from a network provider. However, there may be a copayment or cost share for any resulting treatment or follow-up care. For example, a biopsy or follow-up diagnostic mammogram is not considered preventive, even if performed during the same preventive care visit. Therefore, the applicable copayment or cost share would apply.
