Reimbursement Rate Clarification – Fairbanks, Alaska

In accordance with TRICARE requirements, Health Net Federal Services, LLC (HNFS) will reimburse claims processed or adjusted on or after Dec. 4, 2020 for most providers in Fairbanks, Alaska at 100% of the TRICARE Maximum Allowable Charge (TMAC), unless otherwise covered in a written agreement.
What action is required?
If you received payments higher than TMAC in the past, no action is required on your part. Previously paid claims will not be adjusted, unless you resubmit them to TRICARE for reconsideration.
