Idaho Physicians Network to No Longer Provide Delegated Credentialing as of July 1
Tuesday, March 8, 2022
As of July 1, 2022, Idaho Physicians Network (IPN) will no longer provide delegated credentialing services to Health Net Federal Services, LLC (HNFS) for the TRICARE West Region network. As such, credentialing for providers in Idaho will transition to CAQH®, currently used by HNFS for providers in most TRICARE West Region states.
HNFS is required to conduct a credentials review on each network provider to determine if the provider meets the minimum requirements of the Defense Health Agency, HNFS and URAC. As part of the provider agreement process, medical, surgical and/or mental health care providers must complete this credentialing process.
If you are a network provider in Idaho, please verify your CAQH profile allows for global access or specifies that HNFS can access your CAQH record. Go to: www.caqh.org. HNFS uses CAQH during both the initial credentialing and recredentialing process.
For CAQH access issues, contact the CAQH Help Desk at 1-888-599-1771.
Providers in Idaho who are due for recredentialing on or after July 1 will receive a recredentialing notification from HNFS. Beginning July 1, please submit all provider additions using our Network TRICARE Provider Roster template.
